| Welcome To The Detention Hall ! |
You have come to the right place!
Just another KISS bulletin board? Not hardly! We are a KISS Army community!
The Detention Hall forum was formed to maintain contact among the KISS Army members, young and old, so that we can share our life experiences together into the future. As youngsters back in the early days of the band, many of us found ourselves in the detention hall on occasion - so the name fits us well!
Obviously since KISS is the common thread that binds us together, discussion of the band is a major part of the board. However, we do not concern ourselves solely on KISS-related topics. At the Detention Hall, we share opinions on topics like sports, movies, TV, and music from other bands from the past and present.
You can view the forum as a guest before joining, and we invite you to do so. You certainly will not find any haters here, we simply do not tolerate it. What you will find is a community of people who have arrived here primarily as a result of their interest in KISS and who have found themselves making new friends, perhaps even for a lifetime. New members are always welcome with open arms - we would not have it any other way!
The Detention Hall forum is administered and moderated by a group of longtime fans who share a very special friendship with each other. We are dedicated to making the Detention Hall the best it can be!
We are one ... we are the KISS Army flunkies of the Detention Hall ... and we invite you to join us!

Shannon Tweed Gets to Kick Gene's Ass |
| Posted: Cheri In: KISS 101 @ Wed, Jul 23 2008, 2:22 PM |
What sets Gene Simmons Family Jewels apart from all the other reality TV shows out there?
Shannon Tweed: We’re real and we’re not a car accident.
Gene Simmons: I think women around the world, especially in Malaysia, would love to see a woman like Shannon. Shannon is a modern 21st century woman who doesn’t define herself by any man – certainly not me. I think that’s a great wake up call to women around the world. I don’t care what religion or culture you are from; you are more important than yo...

| Posted: ClevelandRocker In: KISS 101 @ Wed, Jul 23 2008, 11:31 AM |
Something I never understood. The painting of Eric Carr that was supposedly commissioned by KISS.
What was the purpose of this ? Promo material ?
They had no plans on making another round of solo lps so what was the reasoning behind it being made?

Chris Lendt (KISS and Sell) On Peter & Ace |
| Posted: originals In: KISS 101 @ Wed, Jul 23 2008, 11:27 AM |
KISS Hell Online: When you were working with KISS, which members were you closest to?
Chris Lendt: Eventually I would say Peter - and it's interesting because Peter was probably the most different from my background as could be imagined. Everybody knows what Peter's background is: he dropped out of high school, he's a guy from Brooklyn, he used to hang out in gangs and then he became a musician for many years and struggled until he hit the big time with KISS. But I became friendly with him b...

Fear Of Change |
| Posted: nightwingken2 In: KISS 101 @ Tue, Jul 22 2008, 11:19 AM |
Sadly when I think of Kiss and Kiss fans. The phrase "Fear Of Change" keeps popping up.
Take the reunion, tons of fans were bitching that they should have done a 100% recreation, complaining about make up variations, improper guitars used when recreating the period.
Take the fans that Say Kiss should do what they want to (as long as the band does what They want them to do)
The band itself, seemingly trapped in a "Greatest Hits Image and sound"...no new recordings, no...

Kiss helped identify remains Published Monday July 21st, 2008
Badges from rock band found on jacket help family of man found near Edmonton identify his body
EDMONTON - Gene Simmons doesn't know it yet, but his legendary rock band had a major role in solving the mysterious discovery of a man's remains east of Edmonton.
Now friends and relatives of Robin Douglas Goodwin want to thank the tongue-wagging Kiss frontman.
It started last November when the body of an unkno...
